6 shortcuts In Photoshop
1. T- Type Tool, For typing                               
2. U-Rectangle Tool, For creating rectangles  
3. G-Paint Bucket Tool, For filling in areas with color  
4. C-Crop Tool, For trimming or expanding the edges of the image
5. I-Eyedropper Tool, For taking sample colors from an image
6. H-Hand Tool, Move over different parts of an image

Octopus
Shortcuts:
1. Ctrl +/- To zoom in/out
2. W-Quick selection Tool, Creates a selection around the edges of an image
3. L-Lasso tool, Create freehand selections

I first used the quick selection tool(W) to crop out the octopus from the image, then zoomed in using Ctrl +. I then used the lasso tool(L) to create selections by hand and began cropping the background from the octopus.
